Park25 Restaurant — Restaurant in Isle Mauritius

We recently spent a wonderful evening at Park25 and were thrilled from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed as soon as we entered and immediately felt like we were with good friends. The ambience was cozy and inviting, and the service was not only friendly, but attentive and warm.

The food was simply fantastic! For starters, we had the prawns with palm heart gratin - a perfect combination of tender prawn meat and the delicate aroma of the palm hearts, simply delicious. The main course, a burger with raclette cheese, was also a highlight: juicy, aromatic and enhanced by the melted, tangy cheese - we can recommend it to anyone. To finish, we enjoyed the lukewarm chocolate cake, which was still runny and wonderfully chocolaty on the inside, and the baba au rhum, which delighted with its delicate rum aroma and airy texture. Both desserts were a perfect end to this wonderful evening.

We enjoyed the evening so much that we went out to eat at Park25 several more times in the days that followed - and thoroughly enjoyed...

We had a very nice lunch there. Very rare to find a restaurant which put so much effort to use healthy and nature ingredients on this island. The chef got so excited when realised we are plant-based diet, he further shared his stories about creating menu for another restaurant in north, used to work for Four Seasons Mauritius, doing vegan restaurants in Switzerland and HK etc

We had: 1)vegan burger is made with quinoa, mushroom and other nature ingredients, the burger bread also very tasty, sweet potato fries were perfectly crunchy but juicy inside. 2)vegan sandwich with kimchi is quite refreshing and the focaccia is very filling. 3) tofu bowl is very nice too, with my favorite edamame, fresh veggies and the sauce is amazing! 4) blue berry dessert with home baked granola and nature sweeter(maple) is the perfect ending with black coffee.

the meal were really tasty and he gave us some sour dough to try, which is rare on this island without putting a specific ingredient(chemical, forget the name) like other...

Came because of the 4.8 star rating and pics of great food. It was packed and initially the host said there wasn't room for 1 more person. Another waiter came by and looked and sat me right away. He took my order but got it wrong (had asked if it was fish and was told it was--sadly phone was dead so couldn't google search the words on menu). Came out with meat sandwich incredibly late and forgot other parts of order. Drink came out without the alcohol (I was 1/3 through drink when they came out with separate shot). A different server realized I had been abandoned and kindly helped. Most servers are running around like crazy and the other meals looked fantastic....but I saw way too many meals being sent back (unsure why). It has a high end class feel and was hopeful for an equal experience with the food but didn't. I visited other places while on vacation multiple times due to great vibe and food. Would not come to this place a...
