Read moreWow wow wow, this hidden gem of a restaurant blew us away. What can I say - The atmosphere was amazing with a cool temperature thanks to the AC. When we walked in, we were welcomed by a very polite and well spoken Gentleman who we later found out is the owner of the restaurant. He showed us the inside dine in area and outside. The place is beautiful and very well decorated. A very chilled music playing in the background, spotless clean dine in and beautiful pastries displayed.
We sat inside because of the AC and placed our orders. I can say it took a little bit of time for our food to arrive but it was 100% worth it. We ordered the Egg Muffins, La Kentucky and for drinks, we had La Queen Victoria and Citronnade + la menthe. Unfortunately, they didn't have waffles but the owner went out of his way to give us complimentary Sweet Potato fries and an Additional Egg Muffin on the house. This place deserves an easy 5 stars. ...
Read moreAvocado Toast - garnished way too much. I believe the combination of cucumber and avocado doesn't jive well together. The portion was too small. It needed Eggs on top of the toast to complement this breakfast which you have to order on the side.
The Truffle Egg toast - it was not really scrambled eggs more like an egg salad on top of the bread. Again the portion is way too small.
Kentucky chicken - they had only one portion left. The portion size was small for the price. The batter for the chicken was different and tasted superb. The American sauce was nothing special - mayo and ketchup mixed.
The ice tea was not really homemade - tea mixed with boxed juice.
The espresso was good with crema on top and smooth. Portion size is small for the price.
Overall the cuisine is different but the it's overpriced for the portion size. For American type of breakfast one should increase the size...
