Challenging, and well kept course on the north side of the hotel strip in Cancun. It seems to be part of a resort community being renovated or still being developed. A bit unassuming but greeted very professionally and was directed to check in and next steps right away. Booked the trip online which was simple and honored but wish someone responded to my emails prior to visiting to arrange transport and prepare better. Club house was clean and very nice but small. Its pricey so bring your own balls if you can. And with this challenging of a course you can lose a lot of balls. We rented clubs, taylor made SIM was 65 and Titleist and Cleveland were 45. Carts were a little dated and wish they had gps but the sprinkler heads were marked with distance. Course itself was very nice and in great shape. Very challenging and dares you to approach early to score better. Watch out for wildlife, the mexican racoons were suspect! I will definitely play again but will be better...

Fast forward, the starter got the time wrong and yelled at me to go to first tee while i’m at the range. Then 4 guys came up and pressured him to go out before us and we got bumped 20 minutes. Course would be like $80 in Los Angeles. The “star” hole is 14 and it’s unkept and a lack luster par 4.
Never returning and I’d recommend it against it for anyone interested in a decent golf experience. Nobody working here...
Read moreI'm not sure I would return here to play another round.... maybe with friends in the evening to utilize the lounge/range. I played a couple of months ago and it was in pretty bad shape. I suspect with the constant development in progress it's reshaping the original golf layout. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but the front 9 and back 9 are in completely different stages of life. There was no rain for quite a while yet the course was soaked and no one was taking care of the course fixing divots, bunkers, etc. One or two positives is if you order a sandwich you get a pretty hefty one that'll last the entire round and they have a lounge/range area...
