The Harbor offers a spacious and airy environment, with wide corridors, high ceilings, and plenty of natural light. The design encourages leisurely strolls, making it not just a place for shopping but also for socializing. The inclusion of outdoor dining areas near the lake, along with terraces for relaxation, amplifies the sense of space. The mall's structure is intended to be more than just retail; it's a lifestyle center where one can spend an entire day enjoying various activities.
In essence, The Harbor in Mérida combines the allure of major anchor tenants like Gran Chapur and Cinépolis with a selection of popular dining options, all set within an architecturally thoughtful space that celebrates both modernity and local culture. This makes it a significant destination for both residents of Mérida and visitors looking for a comprehensive shopping and...
Read moreThe biggest problems for me:
The parking underground is HORRIBLE. Maybe it's OK for the smallest economy car, but this mall does not seem to be catering to people as such (no food court only sit down dining options). I drive a Tahoe, and it was very sketchy the narrow curve entrances and exits to safely maneuver. There is also no real flow once in the underground lot. It's a jumbled up mess. There is parking above, which is OK now while very few stores are open. If this mall ever takes off it will be a huge problem.
Second issue is if I want a light snack there are no options but the coffee shops.
The 2 draws for me, which make me return:
Vip Cinepolis is very nice.
I like being able to walk my Bichon Frise around (I havent as of now, but plan to) and also to look at the...
Read moreWe found the Harbor to be very beautiful. The Cinepolis theatre has a beautiful VIP seating! Incredible! The restaurants are unique and international. We like that. Just, it would be nicer if there were more signs for parking. Direct people to get out. We found getting in and out of the mall very maze like. Windows that appear to be doors. Confusing. Not enough exit signs. Needs more exit doors to the parking garage. Also, when entering/exiting the parking area, the tunnels are very narrow and awkward. Careful if you drive a large vehicle. Once out of the parking area, no clear signs to find the road. We almost turned down the wrong way on...
