Mr. Pampas Garza Sada — Restaurant in Nuevo León

Generally speaking, it's my favorite buffet, we can finally serve ourselves wearing gloves in the salad and additional options section, an effort I actually applaud big time, all the regulations are in place. I do have a comment regarding the reservation process. I was meant to meet with 8-9 people, in the end we were only 5 but I called to make a reservation 2 days before to make sure we wouldn't have to wait. We were given a hidden table next to the children's recreational area, so the service was terrible! It felt as if we were punished for making a reservation. The waiter tried to keep us in the loop but we waited for over 30 mins to be served by the ones circulating with the meat because they just couldn't see us. Waiter had to ask for them to visit our table, it was SUPER uncomfortable due to 2 situations: the lack of room for the ones serving - when they finally got around our table - we waited and waited for specific requests like the garlic bread, picagna (which is practically serverved thinner than transparent ham slices it's definitely not even worth asking for it) AND because it was SUPER hot! No A/C reached out hidden corner whatsoever... So we were all melting away. I managed to take only one picture because I was told they are FORBIDDEN. I don't know what are they hiding or afraid of... The salad buffet is always super good, every time you find new and more options but I just prefer to save the...

Pésima experiencia en este lugar, salimos con esa sensación de haber sido estafados, me echaron a perder completamente mi cumpleaños, primera y última vez que me paro en esta cadena de restaurantes.

Comencemos con los detalles: Buscando restaurantes para celebrar mi cumpleaños me topé con Mr. Pampas Garza Sada porque traía antojo de un buffet de carnes. Me metí a su página para checar el menú y me topé con un anuncio que decía que el cumpleañero NO paga y me agradó la idea porque ya he ido a otros restaurantes en donde manejan este mismo concepto. Al llegar al lugar fuimos recibidos en un ambiente sumamente ruidoso provocado por un nivel de música muy alto. Nos recibe una hostess que en tono muy bajo nos empieza a dar una serie de indicaciones que apenas se alcanzaban a escuchar, pareciera que lo hacen a propósito para que no escuches los términos y condiciones de su servicio. Ya en la mesa, seguimos notando que la música estaba muy alta. Entiendo que por ser buffet los restaurantes buscan crear un ambiente incómodo para que la gente se quede poco tiempo y consuma menos, así que si buscas un lugar relajado con buen ambiente busca mejor en otro lado. Estratégicamente van pasando por tu mesa diferentes meseros con diferentes cortes que vienen incluidos en el buffet, sin embargo, estratégicamente intercalan meseros con cortes especiales que NO VIENEN incluidos en el buffet y que tienen costo extra. El tema aquí es que te pescan completamente distraído porque estás comiendo y platicando, y los meseros estratégicamente no te advierten nada, solamente se acercan a tu mesa a ofrecer un platillo y tú lo aceptas sin saber que ese platillo en especial tiene costo extra. Y así lo siguen haciendo durante toda la noche con la única finalidad de que caigas en el engaño y aumentes tu cuenta. Finalmente al momento de pagar me doy cuenta de que no me habían hecho ningún descuento por cumplir años como lo decía su publicidad. Le comento al mesero y me dice que la promoción aplica solamente cuando 4 personas que acompañen al cumpleañero pagan su buffet. Le comento que vi una publicidad en la página del restaurante y de inmediato me pregunta que si ya había leído las letras chiquitas que venían abajo de la publicidad, lo cual tristemente no había hecho.

Mi pregunta es, ¿creas un modelo de negocio para estafar gente o para ofrecer productos y servicios de calidad en un ambiente agradable?.

Me gusta ir a buenos restaurantes y pagar bien, me gusta que me atiendan y comer rico, me gusta salir con ese sentimiento de querer regresar muy pronto, pero en el caso de Mr. Pampas fue todo lo contrario y tengan por seguro que jamás regresaré.

Por cierto, la comida muy buena, pero eso pasa a un plano irrelevante cuanto el resto de la experiencia fue muy desagradable.

Si decides acudir a este lugar te recomiendo llevar a tu abogado o a un inspector de Profeco para que te ayuden a interpretar todas las letras chiquitas y publicidad engañosa que manejan...

Everything was perfect but the a cleaning staff was very disrespectful When I entered to the restroom, she started to say that I am a chinese. And then, when I was about to use the toilet and wash my hands, she got angry, asking why I was stepping on the corridor she had cleaned. Cleaning may be a nuisance, but it is her duty, and I was using my legitimate rights as a guest, but I was embarrassed when she got angry at me for criticizing me. Did she want me to fly out, without me washing my hands in the sink or stepping down her hallway? She also installed a cleaning sign to prevent me from going out the entrance even though I was in the bathroom, so I had to move the cleaning sign myself and walk by. The food, the atmosphere, the rest of the staff... Everything was perfect except her, but she ruined my day. If you don't want to experience racism, don't use las...
