AH Amsterdamsestraat — Local services in The Hague

EDIT: Added a star. I have never gone without help from an employee at this branch. I feel like that customer service is noteworthy.

It’s tiny and they don’t carry a bunch of basic staples like baking goods or cleaning supplies. This is a beach store, and it’s the only actual grocery store nearby, so it is frustrating when I need something normal. The stock in the store has a high turnover, so things are out of stock often. The employees seem to be stocking constantly. Inability to check receipts or follow randomized sampling. If random checks are installed then it should be followed and the store should check the receipts. This is the worst Albert Heijn in Netherlands. Frequently empty shelves and employees refilling in pick times. If you want to scan a toto ticket AH employees many times lie that the machine is not working or worse they cannot pay out 50 euro because they say they do not have cash in the kassa.
