0930 Tuesday morning inside tunnel, car lost all power while in middle lane so immediately put hazard lights on, the traffic immediately slowed down enabling me to get to left lane, no horns blowing or angry drivers around then came to standstill , buy then all traffic behind me were indicating to go around me, could see heavy vehicles holding back traffic, just so impressed with the way everyone acted, then emergency vehicle arrived and pushed my car out of tunnel to safe area then transporter truck was there to transport my car to safe area at Rosebank Rd.The assistance given to me was absolutely first class.Credit to all...

My 78 year old Dad suffered from a tyre puncture this morning, in the pouring rain, just outside the tunnel. He was slightly concerned about changing the tyre as he's currently suffering from a shoulder injury! His luck was in, in that he was assisted within minutes by James, from the Waterview Tunnel Team! James changed the tyre promptly, and was of a HUGE help to my Dad. Dad said that not only was James clearly "on to it" doing his job, but wouldn't accept cash as way of thanks from my Dad.
