Your fresh choice in Edgeware, Christchurch is an outfit, I have full respect for essential workers as I am one myself, I got home from a stressful day came home, had a shower, and needed some animal food, also thought I would treat myself with a beer as I deserve it, it’s stressful serving customers that have no respect on what’s going in this world, a older lady, short grey hair, glasses I think had a slight ascent served me, very rudely said “ I will serve you everything but the alcohol!!! I said “oh ok is there a reason for that?” She then told me I was drunk and under the influence. I have never felt so degraded in my life! I had literally got home from work, I work with auto parts so like yourselves very busy with people who have no idea how serious this situation is that we are in! On the way out I heard people talking in the car park in how rude she is! She needs to be sorted out, I understand how stressful it can be for US essential workers at this moment, but she was just upright rude! I have never experienced it before, think it’s time for her to retire. I think her name was Gaynor, my partner went back in afterwards to get us something and I got him to ask, no name badge and they were reluctant in giving her name out. Pure disgusting service....

I live in St Albans, and Fresh Choice is on my way home. That is the only reason why I stop there. Tonight, I have to say, I had enough of this service. It is crap. Most of the time there is no smile or hello from the staff, just a cold service. Here are a few stories...

I found out my favorite beer was not on the shelf, maybe sold out. I asked the staff member who was stocking the shelf if they had any left beer at the back. He looked at me and said very coldly, "If there is none on the shelf, then we have none," and walked away.

Another night, I bought some bread. When I arrived at the counter, I had to wait for the lady behind the counter to finish her silly conversation with the security guard. After that, she grabbed the bread and scanned it.. When I paid and said thank you, she just turned her back to me and kept the conversation with the security guard.

Tonight was the worst service. I bought a beer, arrived at the till, and the lady did not even look at me. She just said 4.50 and looked away I wish there was other supermarket next to home. Sometimes you just work your 10 hrs a day and all you need is a nice suermarket next to home with a bit of a smile and appreciation of being a...

It's close to my house but it has no deli and not a great selection as well as there is no specialty foods or breads. Quiet often they run out of things and it doesn't get restocked straight away. Quiet often it can be a week or longer with the reasoning being that it's not their fault its the companies that are suppose to be doing the deliveries fault and problem,it happens far too often. The staff are friendly enough for the most part and helpful,well mostly, theres the occasional staff member that's not pleasant to deal with. I think if the kept the shelves stocked and they got a deli in there,that would certainly help. Some of the prices are totally overpriced and it is more on the expensive side so if they sorted prices as well as keeping on top of the restocking and put a deli in it would be s much better shopping...
