lived in chch my whole life, been to a lot of fnc shops, and i believe this is one of the best, chips are perfectly crispy 90% of the time. decent size scoops, usually order is done within 10 mins of ordering. despite the look of the place, it is a hidden gem. friendly customer service and they do a good job consistently getting the order right. will occasionally give you something extra. i disagree with these reviews about small scoops but maybe they were unlucky. burgers can be hit and miss, but great fish and chip shop. i recomend the chicken...

Used to be my local and they get 3 stars because I will always like the owners but guys, I'm sorry. You're fish & chips suck. Your standard 3 scoops is the equivalent to most people's 1 scoop, The fish is always greasy and yuck, the sausages always smell mouldy and occasionally, the chips simply are either not cooked or overcooked.

I know times are tough but you've lowered your standards too much. I buy fish'n'chips a lot and my family demands that I drive the extra few km's to another...

Could have had family pack deals, paying for individual fish, sausage or extras is way extra. Chips sizes vary aswell not consistant. Twice the lady has happily charged more, i had already added up what i was gettung her price was more and i had to say out loud how much each this was and the total.
