On the Spot Longhurst — Local services in Christchurch

been twice while on holiday near by. First time was acceptable, service wasn't great but more then reasonable considering. Second time was horrid. Mate and I waited about 5 mins to be served, No service and so he rings the bell. a few moments later he is served with little to no communication, as soon as he leaves i am now in the payment processing spot, cashier looks at me and then walks off again. I assume it is only for a few moments but over 5 mins later I am still waiting there. We ended up leaving without my goods as we thought...

This is our local shop, I love the staff here and are welcoming and helpful. Always friendly and a great variety for a small corner shop.

We love taking a walk here for ice cream, grabbing something needed, ahould this be sweets , nzpost , crips, bread, milk, butter, even frozen pizza!

While every NZ Post place in Chch is closed on Sunday, this convenience store does NZ Postal services, open to 8pm on SUNDAY! So if you have a parcel to drop off but aiming to leave Chch Sunday, you don't have to stay until Monday morning (9am for most NZ Post places) to open.
