Qubed Coffee Lounge — Restaurant in Christchurch

I’ve been here multiple times before, with the old owners and really enjoyed my experience however since coming here recently I was incredibly disappointed. We had ordered 2 cabinet items, a bowl of chips 2 coffees and a smoothie and sat in the corner with the couches. The area was really messy with food on the floor and under the table that looked days old. The coffee, smoothie and chips came out before the cabinet food and when it was bought out was incorrect, however the woman who bought it to us was not apologetic at all, infact she then started talking incredibly loud about how I “apparently ordered the beef brisket croquette” and was pretty grumpy at ME, it was another 20 minutes after that, that I finally got to eat my cabinet food. It was not good. I came with my son and wife for lunch. I have ordered the crispy chicken for me, the chicken burger for my son from the kid's menu, and my wife had an avocado poached egg.

The poached egg with avocado on bread was good. However, the chicken was fried too long and it was served quite unprofessional.

The biggest disappointment was the server, a young girl with curly, brown hair and a 666 tattoo on her wrist. She seems to be very annoyed by her job and threw the cutleries on the table which we found quite rude. If I would be the manager, I would fire her.

One of the best coffee experiences I’ve had in New Zealand! The flat white here is exceptionally smooth and flavorful—better than many I’ve tried in Melbourne. The café’s environment is bright, clean, and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to relax.

Their eggs Benedict is absolutely delicious, with perfectly poached eggs and a rich, creamy hollandaise sauce. The fried chicken is tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. You can tell the ingredients are incredibly fresh, which makes every bite even more enjoyable.
