Hugely disappointed to see Terra Viva discriminate against fellow kiwis. This is NEVER ok! I have thousands of dollars to spend on landscaping plants which I will take to Oderings or Texture Planrs who have not discriminated. It was a choice for retail and you chose the wrong pathway. I will never shop at your cafe or garden centre again and I will pass the word on!!

Following your response: It is incorrect to state it is a government requirement for retail to ask for vax passports. Retail have not been mandated, they are fully able to choose. Places like Oderings who have cafe's as well have separate requirements for cafe and garden shop. You are the only garden centre I've come across that has chosen to discriminate. Lobely service we were delighted to be asked to take a seat at a table and a server would come and take our order. They were polite and respectful even recognising wearing hijab a a staffember asked about marshmellows for the children if it were ok or not and i responded with if they were pascall or rainbow usually the paclet will tell them if they are bovine or porcime it was lovely even being asked if i was part of the terra viva loyalty programme. My wife and I used to absolutely love going to Terra viva, we would be in there 2-3 times a week.

But before the mandates were rolled out, the owners had already put up signs saying the unvaccinated were not welcome.

Because of this, we took our business elsewhere, to Strange Bandit down the road. Who operated under takeaway through the mandates. We have probably easily spent over $1000 at Strange Bandit, which could've easily been Terra vivas money.

To cut a long story short, my wife and I were talking this morning about how we miss Terra viva, but we will never go back because of their discrimination.
