Very very disappointing staff doesn't know how to deal politely with the customer, looks like she is an indian girl. I purchased wine right in front of her and soon i realised that i was supposed to do the transaction in cash as i was shopping for another person and because i got distracted as she asked me for my id and i showed her and in one side i was thinking that this is not the first time i purchased a wine from her i have been purchasing heaps of wines and beers in the past days with the same girl for almost 5 years and in the other side i was surprised how could some one easily forget their customer who has been shopping there form 5 years and behave like i have never seen you before and say you should be prepared to show your id in a very rude way. I was not even refunding it, i just wanted to swap the transaction but she ignored it by showing behaviour and attitude like, this is my store and i don't want to do it now. She also gave a reason of the company policy but she failed to show me when i asked to show. She has got an attitude and is not working passionately as a customer service because she doesn't know for whom she is doing the service, she doesn't recognise the customer who has been shopping there from 5 years and it is not a short time. I just go in that store because it is close to my place but i would love to go another 10km away in different store in search of better customer service because i am spending my hard work money. Finally, it was sorted by the the manager and i find the manager was listening to me in a nice way and with a nice facial expression she was responding me in a polite way which is a must in the...
Read moreI had very unfortunate experience today at this store. My son who's 5 year-old and I went shopping this morning. Everytime my son enters the supermarket he grabbed 2 mandarins from the free shelf. When we reached at the cashier, the old asian lady with a big glasses told me that bringing two fruits out is not allowed. She added that the fruit is only to be eaten inside the store as it helps the children to distract by eating while the parents are doing shopping. I haven't heard that kind of policy, she then told me to read the notes on the wall. Her tone was condescending and in a rude way. I am an asian decent myself, imagine if I was Kiwi, Would she told me off? Part of me thought it was racial profiling. I kept my composure but my son was already distressed and returned the 2 mandarins. He was traumatised citing he doesn't want to come back. I've been a patron of this store for 15 years. I came back after one hour to have conversation with the manager, She listened to my concerns with direct eye contact and feels sorry for what have happened. Nonetheless, Most of the staff member at this branch are very helpful and...
Read moreI’ve been to this Woolworths a few times with high wait times as no self checkouts are installed and decided to try click and collect to try achieve a faster shopping experience. I had a click and collect order which was in a 30 min window, arrived around 7 mins into my 30 min slot and had to wait for about 15 mins (as there was a small line of 2 at customer service) the lady at the customer service desk asked for help and then another lady came over and let me know they hadn’t picked my order which I had placed the day before, she asked me to take a seat and they would get it out to me as soon as it was finished. I had to wait for another 10 mins for the order to be picked. I have decided after this experience that I’m just going to go to New World for click and collect as it takes less than 10 mins. Don’t get me wrong the staff are so lovely here but the store feels unloved and neglected by the higher ups in the Woolworths business. More staff (maybe more management) may be a good start to achieve...
