Im totally on panic shutdown after being a wrongfully attacked and verbally assaulted due to an in-house dispute where the hastings manager felt he was entitled to lie name call and act in a threatening way with holding information about the whereabouts of the van and the keys he held back to continuing his side of events. His 19min wait he decided rude customers like me shouldn’t excist he had a family to go home to. I’m shellfish I promised 4 (lied) I signed a contract for 4 ignored I had phoned and given a message. I have been told this is the way to get a response I’m not going to disclose my weaknesses over a public forum to be further attacked To day is all I’m giving if not satisfactory i will be filling the fear I had for my well being and now bed ridden and the expense of a mother seriously ill and my sister friend in Taupo sent home to die. My car is now not roadworthy to get there. My mums car door now faulty why being with hastings. Google my name my two died 10 months apart I only have 2 left both terminal- before lying and saying the car was for a customer Monday and was needed urgently back. When I saw you drive of laughing with a co worker and no managers Ute on the premises at photos were taken- the well gased van I picked up and nervously came back to get my bag beleaved left in the loan car. Because mums car now empty and getting home was not possible. I was threatened with false information - the manager wanted the car and leave work early After I phoned left a message I had to unpack hospital equipment and it would be closer to 5.30 he discarded the message and falsely attacked me for his own personal needs putting me in a fearful situation and left shaking crying and stranded to drive home photos are times after harassment phone call followed by 8 unanswered calls in a 30min time frame he waited 19 minutes I’ve waited 10 hours* just with his attitude over a tech that left his shop now in Napier and missed as usual on the WOF- today is all I’m giving.    Read moreI had an incredibly upsetting and disappointing experience at Tony’s Tyre Service this morning. I went in after finding a nail in my front tyre, just a few days after having the rear tyre replaced on Saturday for the exact same issue. That replacement ended up costing more than it should have, which only adds to how let down I feel by this store.
When I spoke to Deepak, I asked if I could either have the puncture repaired or the front tyre replaced. Instead of offering any help, he looked over all my tyres and bluntly told me he wouldn’t replace the one tyre unless I agreed to replace all three. I explained clearly that I could only afford to replace the damaged front tyre today and planned to come back next week to replace the others as I already knew they were due to be replaced but just wanted to fix the damaged one first.
I also pointed out that the other tyres shouldn’t have even been an issue, as my car has a current WOF, and I was already in the process of replacing the tyres in a realistic timeframe. Despite this, Deepak completely dismissed what I said and just went back inside offering no help, no solution, and no care. I was left standing there, visibly upset and in shock, and ended up leaving in tears feeling humiliated and disrespected.
His attitude was rude, condescending, and downright unprofessional and I genuinely believe I was spoken down to and treated this way because I’m a woman.
This whole experience showed a complete lack of empathy, integrity, and customer care. It’s clear the values and morals of this store are in the wrong place. Thankfully, I went elsewhere afterward and received amazing service respectful, kind, and helpful, just as it should be.
I will never return to this location and would strongly caution others, especially women, about the way they may be...

The service was fantastic, Simon called me about a different thing that was noted, and it was fixed for me at the same time as the service. My car is driving much smoother now. I had interactions with four different staff. The first (I am so sorry I have forgotten his name) was great at explaining everything to me and getting me set up. Simon who called to explain the issue. The man who I returned the keys to, who opened doors for me and all as i arrived to pick up my car (I also don't have his name).
