I asked for a flounder meal no flounder fair enough I asked for fisherman's basket no mussels fair enough I asked for fillet of the day meal and asked what was the choice of fillet was told lemon fish and Tarakihi I asked if I could swap the fish for a Gropa steak and was told I would have to purchase from the raw fish display skinny young girl with glasses served me I told her I was taking it over to where they cook and she said I will take it over there for you so back to the counter and asked if this could be put in the fillit of the day meal to the girls cooking to be told oh no the fillet meal is a set meal made me wonder was I to confusing for them when I asked in the first place and was sent over to the raw fish the young lady with the glasses intervened and told me there is proper steak on offer with the fillet of the day meal which wasnt pointed out in the first place by the cooks so I ordered the meal with two eggs and for the second time I have ordered a meal no bloody salad when I got home. They have the wrong people at the counter i have encountered problems with these two serving in the past but couldn't be bothered writing a review the young lady with the glasses is more on to it than the two serving and cooking. The same two I ordered a flounder meal in the past get home no bloody chips. How hard can it be to know all meals come with chips,...

I did not know this was here but when l was travelling on a bus l went past it and thought l would grab my dinner there 17th June 21. 18:45PM we went in x2 of us and l ordered. I asked for a burger, sorry we're not doing burgers, ok x2 fish and half a scoop of fish please Oh is there and raw mussels in a container too please... Because they had put away most of the fish side she had to go at the back and get one for me, 2 minutes later she came out with a container of mussels l paid for my order. The service was great well spoken and manners were excellent... we got home opened the mussels they were cooked and the batter on the fish was not deep fried enough and had a bitter taste... It was before 19:00PM and they close according to there web site so not to do burgers l thought odd the mussels l was disappointed with and as the batter.. Not happy here and will not be going there anymore. Hope the Napier one ( Have been going too for over 20 years ) havent dropped there standeds...lm not angry just...

Its the MOST Grubbiest Filthiest Dirtiest Seafood Store/Shop Ive ever come across. The presentation and open display of various fresh Seafood selections was POOR!! The seafood looked like it WAS thrown into its various assortments Cluttered, shoved in and heaped on their various partitions Window where food was displayed in desperate need of scrubbing and cleaning. Staff looked as Grubby as the produce being sold.. What a shambles AND Utter disgrace to the...
