Glenorchy Lagoon — Local services in South Island

Views were spectacular! Easy, flat walk around large lagoon. You could take a stroller if you were determined but a mountain buggy would be much easier to push. Gravel road, board walks, narrow dirt track around the far side. Took us 1 hour at average pace. Toilets are at left hand end of carpark at the lake front. Walk starts at right hand...

This is a quick short walk an hour. Not well sign posted. But worth a look. It is a loop with a cross track halfway though the middle. You can walk it in either direction.
