We literally just returned home from the Saturday market, where Gabriella and Gabriella have done their first booth as an experiment, and this was our first time trying their food. We were so impressed that we had to post a review.

We are die-hard Mexican food fanatics (lived in California for many years, so developed the taste there) and have been craving truly genuine, flavourful real Mexican food for some time. We figured we'd dive right in, so had one of each of their tacos.

The words "OMG!" came out several times as we were munching these absolutely delicious and genuine tacos! We are now officially fans of Tacos Jaguar and will be back regularly. Thank you two for making the "real deal"!!!

Gab and Gaby have taken things to the next level with their new location Casa Jaguar in Glenorchy! All their dishes have always been fabulous and full of real Mexican flavours, but this move to their own bricks and mortar restaurant has truly expanded not only their food offerings, but also added that welcoming sense of Mexican hospitality and the feeling love when you are visiting close friends (which you are) to share a delicious meal together.

When you step inside their restaurant. it genuinely feels like you've been magically transported to Mexico. Thanks again for another wonderful experience with you. We're looking forward to stop in for...

Have you seen Ratatouille? 😳... When I had the first bite of my taco Jaguar it really transported me to Mexico like the scene in Ratatouille movie 🥲🥲🥲 Mexican here!!! ... tired of eating boring food... went with all my hopes up to this place and IT DIDN'T DISAPPOINT! I shared with my friend the special of the week "Volcan de asada" and also tried the "Birriamen" oh boy... the flavors are to die. loved every single bite! I also tried the flan which has the most amazing texture and flavor and the churros are soooo good. By the end of the meal I was soooo happy and wish I could keep eating more.. but I was actually pretty full. Next time I will be trying the rest of the things on the menu. Chefs are top notch and super friendly! best ingredients and I almost thought the cheese was like one in Mexico called "Oaxaca" awwww I can't wait to go back,...

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful the experience is here! For the mains we had the Special of the Week Tacos (Volcán de Asada) and the Birria Ramen and this is as authentic mexican food as you would get in any food stall in México! The flavours and love put in each dish are shown by the crunchiness of the tacos, the extremely well cooked meat in both dishes and the perfectly balanced flavour of the coriander in the broth! For desert we had the Flan and the Churros (which we have no pictures because we couldn't wait to eat them) and what a perfect way to finish off this meal! Top notch food that can only be topped by the kind and warm staff that cook and serve! An absolute must visit when in Queenstown! We will...

Had the All day birria Tacos & Broth. It was delicious and messy to eat because the contents were rather juicy (finger licking good thankfully). The consumme was savoury and not too rich. I ended up drinking the rest😆. I kind of wanted to order another one or the Birria tosta. The service staff serving us was very friendly as well. They kindly explained what is in each dish when we were unsure and even checked if we have any allergies. Definitely coming back again if I get the chance to be back in Glenorchy.
