had a lovely time stargazing with neal! he was really knowledgable about the night sky and shared little nuggets about maori and chinese culture about the stars! we saw the jewel box and saturn - which was such a wonderful treat! and that powerful laser pointer was really cool too :D now i know how to find my way (southern cross + pointer stars....and clap your hands?? haha) if i am ever lost in the southern hemisphere. THANK YOU NEAL! :) (PS: your english is really good so don't doubt yourself!)

An unforgettable experience! We had such knowledgeable guides, amazing views of Jupiter, the moon, nebulae, and stars! A detailed explanation of how to find the “Real” Southern Cross and due South like the sailors of old! We LOVED laying on the bean bags to look up at the billions of stars overhead! This group was recommended by New ZealandTravel Tips
. and the rating is as high as all the stars in the sky! Photo below taken from my camera with their tripod!

A great experience, with a competitive price in comparison to the Lake Tekapo and Mt Cook. Our guide for the night, Wilson, was amazing. A down to earth guy, knowledgeable, and was very accommodating. Having a smaller group also helped us to enjoy the stargazing a lot more, giving us more time to use the telescope. Having our photo taken under the sky was an added bonus!!! Thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish.

We went to the stargazing tour during Valentines Day. I come from the city so I've never really seen a blanket of stars. We were lucky to have a pretty clear sky (unfortunately, it was a full moon) that day. I learned a lot of information on the stars with the guides pointing out which their names and both the scientific facts and the cultural significance behind them. It made my nights in New Zealand even more meaningful as I could look up at the night sky and understood what...

Absolutely incredible experience just minutes away from where we were staying in Twizel. Our guide, Sam, was very knowledgable and answered our questions and shared a wealth of knowledge. Living in the northern hemisphere, it was amazing to learn about the sky in the southern hemisphere. I highly recommend this outdoor tour of the night sky! At the end of the tour, Sam took a photo of the night sky and another photo of my Mom and I in front of the night sky. The photos...
