The Musterers Hut Cafe — Restaurant in South Island

This cafe is beautiful has a great warm cosy feel inside with delicious meals served and great options for vegetarian like us, but something that won my heart was the type of customer service we received, this has to be one of the friendliest staff i have ever come across in my life, my almost 2 years old son knocked one of the dish with pancakes and cream and the dish and bowl unfortunately smashed into pieces, i along with my hubby was obviously embarrassed and sorry for the event but the lovely staff ( please forgive me i did not catch the lovely ladies names) quickly came at the scene and cleared it all up, further they made us a whole pancakes dish and gave it for free, when we insisted to the least we could do is to pay for the damage, the happily denied, and their main aim was to make sure we were fed and we were fed well and very well looked after, between those pancakes were also on point delicious, but i mean in todays world you will not find such humble people easily, such an extraordinary customer service, i will definitely return and thank you so much for...

Musterer's Hut Cafe has been a favorite of mine in Twizel for their reliably great coffee and pies. Sadly, my recent visit was a huge disappointment. I ordered a vegetable pie after specifically asking about the filling and being told it contained mushrooms and spinach. What I received was a soggy, cold pie filled with carrots and corn, nothing like described. When I pointed this out to a staff member, she simply microwaved it without any apology or acknowledgement of the issue.
