If you are looking for an Aurora tour in the Lofoten, don't search any further: Odd-Petter is the best! He has such a knowledge of the region, the weather, and the aurora, that if he isn't cancelling the tour, that's because he knows he can find her (yes, the aurora is a "she"). We started the tour it was pouring rain. All other agencies had cancelled their own tours. But Odd-Petter was confident. And after some driving, searching for the best place, we suddenly stopped in the middle of the road, and here she was. 5 minutes after, it was clear sky, and we could enjoy the aurora in a couple of other places, having her just for us. Northern lights are addictive on their own, but hunting the aurora with Odd-Pettar is by far the best experience you could ever get in Lofoten. There might be clouds and rain, in my case even a storm... But if there's a possibility to find a clear spot and witness the magic lady aurora, then Odd-Pettar will find that spot! He is born and raised in Lofoten, super passionate, knowledgeable, entertaining and a great photographer. Thanks to all his many skills I had an amazing evening and I've got beautiful photos - which I won't have if I had to rely just on my scarce ability as a photographer. We had two tours on 31st of December and 1st of January with Odd-Peter and everything was fabulous! Not only that he is a local, born and raised, local photo-guide, he is very knowlegeable, very well prepared professional, but also a hugely passionate guy who enjoys every second of what he does and who drives perfect, putting safety first at all time.
