I just want to share my honest review during our stay at Villa Manuela Beach Resort.
The first thing, The place is completely overpriced. The rooms are smelly and very basic. It gets cool in the night, but only a thin blanket and a half on the spare bed. Makes sense, small bed, half blanket, right?
Secondly, Everything in this resort is just overpriced. Water in the comfort room is salty like the water itself from the sea. The water is not running properly(one of the reasons why Php5,400 for a room for four is not worth it). No complimentary water.
Thirdly, let's talk about the food. Free breakfast - not so good. Drinks like fruit smoothies were also not worth the price for its taste even their halo-halo. Honestly, their meals were quite pricey, and almost everything was not delicious. I felt disappointed about the 960php worth of food we ordered, which we couldn't even finish.
*Overpriced Meals and Coffee Options for the meals are: Spam Longganisa Corned beef That are all cooked and served at the price for a regular restaurant with the quality that's for a carinderia. To be specific, it's Php150.00 for the meal and Php40.00 for a coffee that's most likely a sachet coffee and Php40 for a milo.
Perhaps the only thing I liked about Villa Manuela Beach Resort was that their restaurant was right by the beach, offering a great view. Other than that, there wasn't much that was good. Hopefully, the management can improve the quality of the food they serve because it's okay if it's expensive, as long...

The first thing I immediately noticed was that something was off about this resort. It seemed like they weren't aware of their guests' booking schedules, which I experienced firsthand. When we arrived at the resort, they were unaware that I had a reservation.
Secondly, the room we selected through Agoda didn't match the photos of the actual room we stayed in. Aside from that, it was a bit unsettling because we were at the back of the beach, and the front of our room faced what seemed like an empty lot. Basically, it wasn't 'in front of the beach.'
Thirdly, let's talk about the food. Honestly, their meals were quite pricey, and almost everything was not delicious. I felt disappointed about the 780php worth of food we ordered, which we couldn't even finish.

*Terrible Room Experience Rotating power outages (They have a back-up generator but it's only enough for the lights, so no ac if you got a room with ac) Water smells bad Obvious rusting on the shower and faucets Broken lock on the sliding door of the balcony Low water pressure Power went out on the night that we stayed in and there was no ac, we saw the other guests just choosing to sleep in their cars.

If you are used to the heat and to the provincial life (kung laking probinsya ka), you will probably like it here since it is close to the beach, and as long as you have the budget.
If you are used to the urban hotels and resorts, this is definitely a no-go. Even if it is low-priced, it is NOT...
