Libingan ng mga Bayani — Local services in Taguig

I had a brother who died in March 19, 1968 who paid the ultimate sacrifice for his country and was buried at Libingan ng mga Bayani. I am now residing here in the Philippines from United States and paid monthly visits at my brother's grave site. I noticed that the ground maintenance at this cemetery is not being done on a regular intervals. The grass is brown very tall. The dead leaves from the trees are not being cleaned. I have to clean my brother's grave site myself in order to make it presentable for picture taking. My brother deserves a better place than this I cannot help but to think that the funding for this cemetery is being channeled to an Army officer bank account. Let's face it desperate people will do desperate measures to scam for money which is motivated by greed. The place is so solemn and peaceful, you could not get stressed there. The crosses that were there especially those ones by the veterans during world war 2, were so symbolic of their heroism and their undying love for our country. Some of the most important people in Philippine History were buried there. Former presidents, vice presidents, Chief Justices, etc.
