Food Review: A Hidden Gem in Taguig
If you’re looking for a spot that serves mouthwatering dishes, offers a relaxing vibe, and treats you to a stunning city view of BGC, this place is your go-to. Here’s why it left us raving:
The Food The Signature Char Siu is to die for! The smoky, flavorful meat paired with their fluffy bao is a match made in culinary heaven. Every bite feels like a dance of flavors on your tongue.
Their Sisig is a game-changer. Forget the rice; the crispy fried wonton pairing is genius! You’ll find yourself going back for more—it’s that good.
They even serve free fried potato chips as an appetizer, fried to perfection and topped with their classic chili oil for an addictive kick.
The Potstickers? Absolutely on point—perfectly cooked with pinkish, juicy meat fillings. The only downside? We wish there was more of their delicious sauce to go with it.
The Wanton Soup is a hearty and generous serving. The rich, flavorful broth speaks of hours of slow cooking, though the wontons themselves were slightly salty. Regardless, it left us satisfied and full.
The Drinks Their lemonade is refreshingly tangy, while the mango shake strikes a perfect balance—not too sweet, not too tart. It’s the ideal refresher to pair with their bold-flavored dishes.
The Service Top-tier service is what you’ll get here! It’s comparable to dining at high-end restaurants in BGC, with attentive staff and a warm, welcoming vibe that makes you feel pampered.
The Atmosphere Set in a quiet area away from the city noise, the place is perfect for relaxing or sharing an intimate moment with someone special. The view of BGC from afar is breathtaking, especially at sunset—talk about dinner with a view!
Final Verdict This spot is truly a hidden gem in Taguig. From exceptional food to a calming ambiance and stellar service, it’s a must-visit. Whether you’re craving a hearty meal, a serene environment, or a stunning cityscape, this place ticks all the boxes....

Amah Restaurant delivered yet another outstanding dining experience, with every dish perfectly executed. The Crab Fried Rice was incredibly flavorful, making it a great complement to the rest of our meal. The Kinilaw was fresh and well-balanced, with just the right level of acidity.
One of the biggest hits of the night was the Calamares, which my niece, Audrey, absolutely loved. It was crispy, tender, and so well-seasoned that she couldn’t get enough of it. The Birthday Noodles were comforting and packed with delicious toppings, while the Baked Oysters were rich and indulgent. The Siomai were huge, juicy and meaty - a clear standout indeed!
We also had the special off-menu Lechon and Dinuguan, which were both exceptional. The Lechon, cooked the Visayan way, had that perfect crispy skin with tender, flavorful meat, and the Dinuguan was deeply rich and paired beautifully with it. Even the Potato Chips, though simple, were perfectly crispy and addictive.
Every dish we tried was a hit, and it’s clear that Amah Restaurant continues to impress with its consistent quality. This was a meal to remember, and we’ll definitely be...
Read morePortions are small. The dishes look nothing like what the pictures show in adverts, there are some creativity with the dishes but lacks finesse and experience from seasoned chefs. All the food came in at room temp. Except for the stir fry vegetables that looked awful but seemed like the only dish that was cooked the same day. Oysters was treated with a floury bechamel. Char Siu didn’t taste anything like the normal char siu. We did like the crispy tripe on the salad. The duck kikiam tasted good but execution lacked dexterity in wrapping. The impressive things were the books on the shelves and the bathroom. The bao buns were bready. The palabok that looked amazing was short on flavour and oddly spicy. The siomai was ok. The mochi dumplings was ok. Terribly overpriced for quality. Overpriced for portions. Overpriced for a standalone that doesn’t pay rent. The mango dessert is highway robbery. The view of the skyline is fantastic though. Steamed fish was a poor choice of fish with fishy after notes. The complimentary chips and tripe salad was good starters then downhill from there. We tried this because a former Shangrila colleague...
