Wonderful golf course in superb condition. Played 2/6/24 in a 2 ball at 9:30am in great weather 26⁰ and sunny. Course not too busy with plenty of time and space to enjoy the course. We elected to use a push and an electric trolley. Perfect for us. The course was flat and it was an easy walk. ( We are in our 50's and regular fitness) Wouldn't have liked to carry in that heat. Trolleys €20 for electric €7 push. Buggy was €50. Lots of wide open fairways and very forgiving rough. Water in plenty of places but didn't really bother us (our HI 13 and 19) A real treat was the buffet cart driving round the course providing cold drinks, sandwiches, snacks, and fruit. Also toilet and cafe stops on 2 holes on the course so you are well catered for. Lots of interesting holes with challenging fast greens. Very impressed. Booked in advance in the UK through Carlos at TeeTimes. Club house shared between Laguna and the Millennium course. Nice shop and welcoming restaurant/bar. Just stayed for drinks. €5 pint €4...
Read moreAmbassadors trip to Algarve, course 5/7. Afternoon session of our extensive week. Quickly checking in, no need to describe since its same clubhouse like Millenium course and DOM PEDRO standard is set up there. I admit in beginning of the review this is not my course, not because of quality that was perfect, its because of design. I know I love park land courses. This is kind of course, what you would look after if all other courses are booked. I believe it has its own customers. Many holes are protected with water hazards especially on back nine. The course itself is not long its wide open, its easily walkable. The hole what I do remember and what I like probably best is hole 17th short par 3. After all we were able to finish our second round day before dark and grab the beer on...
Read moreWe have played many courses in Portugal and around the world. First point to note is the round was €145 and the buggy was €55. This is massively overpriced for what you get. Condition & layout wise- The course is more in line with a €50 euro course maximum. The buggy was priced for a new one with GPS etc but was old and outdated with no GPS, so should be €20 maximum. If we had paid €50 euros for the round we would have gone away knowing we got what we paid for- however for €145 we feel robbed. For the money I suggest you avoid and go elsewhere- if they reduce their price to around €50 then it may be...
