Ambassadors trip to Algarve, course 3/7 Second day of our trip, afternoon session. Very short relocation from Victoria course, which is 300m away. Big enough parking with lot of space right next to clubhouse. This clubhouse has also big terrace to overview finishing holes for Laguna and Millenium course and the practice areas, all required for practice is available. Checking in is fast with pleasant staff, makes it really great place to visit. Pick up buggy and off we go to 1st tee. It does not seem yet there as different course, but it starts on other holes. You can immediately see a bit of elevation difference compare to Victoria, also the fairways are more narrow thanks to tree lines, those pine trees are amazing. They makes greens smaller and harder to go for the flag. Thanks to the trees the greens and area around it are also bit softer. Nevertheless over all quality of the course is very good on same level like premium course Victoria. Its very difficult for me to say if front nine is more interesting than back nine, not sure, they are both equally divided and offer interesting and scoring holes. I enjoyed very much par 3's on this course. Finishing almost in dark, we succeed to play whole course, and we are rewarded with quick drink on terrace, and looking forward to tomorrow games. I like the design and will for...

Millenium Golf Course in Vilamoura is an excellent choice for golf enthusiasts looking for a challenging and scenic round of golf. The course is well maintained, with pristine fairways and greens that are a pleasure to play on. Vilamoura has a few great courses to choose from so you will be spoilt for choice just comeing here, it really is a "golf town"

The course is designed with a mix of holes that are suitable for all levels of golfers, with some holes offering a wide-open fairway, while others require precision shots to avoid hazards. The course also has a variety of elevation changes, which adds to the challenge and makes for a visually stunning round of golf.

Facilities at Millenium are good, clubhouse is spacious, pro shop and bar both good.

One of the highlights of playing at Millenium Golf Course is the stunning views of the surrounding countryside, including the nearby hills and valleys. The course is also well located, with easy access from Vilamoura and...

If you're a real golfer, don't waste your time or money. Tees are inconsistent (some of the grass on whites were longer than the rough!) You'd have thought they'd nip to the beach to get some beautiful sand, being so close, unfortunately bunkers are like concrete. Greens are not consistent. Ponds/water look like a swamp, green thick gunge, although we did see a turtle managing to survive in one of them. Not worth €73+ green fees. If you're going to the effort and expense of flying with your own golf gear, steer clear of Dom Pedro, pay for and play a course in Portugal's top 20 or 30 (this one doesn't even make the top 50!). Oh yeah, it shuts at 8pm, you must be back at the clubhouse by then, finished or not. Keep them costs low by not paying your employees for another...

Aaawesome! We booked a twilight tee time for two, with a buggy and rented two set of clubs. Everything was prepared, explained, serviced with care. The caddy master was thoughtful, polite, professional fair-square Perfect driving range. On the way to Tee 1, one club house caddy recommended us to start from Tee 10 as on the first 9 there were “beginners”, and led us to there. On Tee ten we were welcomed by five Ibis, a super short cut fairway, wonderful scenery formed by perfectly shaped pine trees, and great holes design. Off we go, 230meters drive with TS2 Driver, and what follows is an awesome, delightful and remarkable experience. Highly recommended!

All three opened Don Pedro golf courses out of five (Pinhal, Laguna-Millennium) were offering a Xmas holidays green fees of 59€ which is pretty good considering the quality of the golf courses. I never had a problem booking some Tee times for the period I was in that area from Dec 14-28 which is considered low season. There are practice ranges in both locations. The Royal course will be closed for at least two years as they are unfortunately building houses around the fairways (outch 👎👎). The old course is reopening early January I believe.
