From the moment I entered Almu’aigliah Market in Riyadh, I was wrapped in a vibrant blend of sounds and scents. The melodic calls of vendors echoed through the alleys, blending with the gentle rustle of abayas and the soft murmur of passing conversations. The air was heavy with the luxurious fragrance of oud and bukhoor, intertwined with the earthy aroma of freshly ground spices and traditional perfumes. Every stall was a visual feast overflowing with colorful textiles, gleaming gold jewelry, and finely crafted daggers that reflected stories of Saudi heritage. The architecture, rooted in traditional Najdi design, enhanced the sense of cultural authenticity. I paused to enjoy local treats, savoring the rich sweetness of dates with the bold bitterness of Arabic coffee. Around every corner, there was something new to discover from handcrafted artifacts to vintage garments that spoke of generations past. Every time I step foot in that place I instantly detach from the rest of the world . It’s like interning into a new space that has its own time , rhythm and feelings , which you cannot describe by just using words . Even with all the movement , there is something still softly melancholic about the faded signs hung above each store . Old men sit outside their shops , some of them sit there with eyes half closed and others watch people pass their shops. The shops there are so tiny and always packed with people, but that is part of the charm !. All of the stores are so cozy and at the same time so chaotic, which in my opinion makes it so wholesome . If i had to choose my favourite shop there i would definitely choose Al-Ahmad Oud and Perfume, which sadly only exists in Al-Muaigliya but at the same time makes it more special . What makes it more amazing is their prices, almost everything was...
Read moreIf you're looking for a great spot to shop for perfumes without breaking the bank, this mall near Batha is definitely worth a visit. You'll find a wide variety of original, branded perfumes at noticeably lower prices compared to other retail locations. It’s a hidden gem for fragrance lovers looking for quality and affordability.
In addition to perfumes, the mall also offers a decent selection of clothing for women and children, especially for everyday or casual wear. The prices are budget-friendly, making it a good option for families or anyone shopping with cost in mind.
Parking, as expected in busy areas like this, can be a bit tricky — especially during peak hours. However, the mall does offer basement parking, which helps ease the situation slightly. If you're planning a visit, I’d recommend going in the evening when the area tends to be a bit more vibrant and manageable in terms of traffic and crowd.
Overall, it’s a practical and worthwhile destination if you're shopping on a budget but still want access to...
