We were back in the Seychelles and last visited this establishment many years ago. At the time we really enjoyed the food and friendliness of the staff and came almost every night.
This time we were guided to this place by a person on the street who dissuaded from continuing our plan to visit another place. In the Seychelles it seems to be common for some local people to recommend places to tourists that are expensive but not very good. Are they on commission? As we were leaving after our meal, the host told us that this person had phoned her up to say he was sending us, so for the rest of the trip we didn't ask locals on the street.
What a difference a few years makes. The restaurant looks similar but we got welcomed by a person that did not seem to happy. There was not much friendliness.
We ordered 4 pizzas and 3 local fruit juices. It was nice but nothing to write home about. The bill of over €100 was crazy! I know many things have to be flown in, etc but for this quality food, that is almost like robbing someone. I had better pizzas for half the price from a nicer restaurant on La Digue, which is even more remote!!
I saw the owner give coffees to the couple sitting next to us at the end of their meal but we were offered nothing. We probably would not have accepted but it's nice to be nice...

We ordered a pizza as a light snack while watching a movie, but it was a disaster—possibly the worst pizza I've ever had and very overpriced! The cheese tasted bitter and smelled bad, making us worry it wasn't fresh. We felt it was unsafe to eat. In the end, we threw it all in the trash.
We had planned to return the next evening for a proper dinner because of the good reviews and the restaurant's convenient location near our hotel. However, after this disappointing takeout experience, we will not be coming back. I suspect many of the glowing reviews are fake; it feels like a setup for unsuspecting tourists. Be careful if you're thinking about...
Read moreArrived at the restaurant at 10:10am without knowing if they were still officially not opened before 12noon, so the welcoming was a bit cold as probably they expected me to know they were not opened yet. Asked for a cappuccino and was directed where to sit (strange I could not choose my sitting 😃). Coffee was served on time. A bit too hot, so had a bitterly burnt taste but ok. No communication of at least to ask me how am I, you know the usual stuff when you have only one customer at your place. The location is nice, green surrounding and very airy. Pizza wooden oven already was on. I think the place is very good for a lunch or dinner visit. I just came at the wrong time 😃. Well, that's...
