I had a very bad experience with Good day beauty parlor today (04-Aug-2021) at Serangoon Road. I’ve been their regular customer for many years holding a “gold membership” card. Even though there have been some unpleasant experiences, I usually ignore them and keep going back to them as I personally like the work of a couple of beauticians there whom I don’t see there anymore. But today’s experience couldn’t have been any worse. I was there at the Serangoon Road branch to get my eyebrow threading, waxing and natural henna treatment done - something I usually do frequently. The beautician who did the threading the worst I ever had there. She did the exact opposite to what I told her and threaded my eyebrows thinner. On top of that, the price charged me for threading was higher than the usual(I used to be charged $7, but today it was $10 after discount!). For henna treatment, I was quoted $95!! the higher than ever. Even when I had a longer hair, the maximum I was charged was in the range of $70 - $75. One of those recent receipts that I found is attached here your reference. Because your employees told me that they can’t track the previous transactions. I really don’t know what’s a “membership card” system means if it can’t track the members transactions. I can understand the fluctuations of 5 - 10 dollars. But a $25 difference is ridiculous. So I just walked out from the store without doing waxing and henna. Paid for the threading which badly done and overcharged! As a long time customer, I lost the trust in you and will think many times before recommending your services to any of my...
Read moreNisha was very rude, arrogant and her overall behaviour and attitude were downright appalling. In front of her boss Jaya, she gave average service at the counter. When Jaya left the area after telling her to do henna for me, she started to show her attitude.
When I asked if I should sit at the side of the table, so I don’t block other people walking along the corridor, she ignored me. During the henna drawing, she grabbed my hand aggressively to turn it and smudged the henna on my finger. When I asked her to redo that part, she refused and said "no it's smudged". I asked her again to redo it and she scowled while doing it. When the henna drawing was done, she started to slam the boxes containing the henna cones around the table in the name of reorganizing. I have never seen this kind of disgusting audacity of any service staff anywhere.
If the staff is not happy with their job, don’t take it out on the customers. We are not paying to deal with your attitude. There are other negative reviews here, but management does not seem to make improvements in their service. It goes to show how much respect the management and their staff have for their customers. There are other beauty parlors to patronize, so I would not recommend...

Booked a hot oil massage and had a very disappointing experience. Pricing was inconsistent and confusing—what I was charged at the end was higher than what was originally quoted. When I questioned it, all I received was a simple "sorry."
The staff seemed untrained and lacked proper massage techniques. During the head massage, the staff member repeatedly pressed on the right temple—over 12 times (yes, I was counting). I told her it was painful and that she hadn't even touched the left side of my head. Instead of adjusting, she laughed it off, which was extremely unprofessional.
I asked twice to speak with the owner and was told both times that they were "busy in the office." I had no choice but to leave this review in hopes it reaches the owner and prompts change.
Shortly after leaving, I developed a massive migraine from the massage. My mom, who had the same treatment with a different staff member, was also ignored when she voiced her discomfort and left with a sore neck.
Owner – please train your staff properly and ensure consistency in pricing and service. This experience was not only disappointing but physically...
