Soča Valley Freeride — Local services in Kobarid

We did an excellent canyoning tour with Nejc yesterday with 12 (6 adults and 6 kids age 10-15 yrs old) people in total. Nejc and the other guide took enough time to explain the safety procedures en to make sure everybody got used to the feeling of canyoning. We could do jumps if you felt up for it, but no pressure, there would always be the alternative of abseiling. I am afraid of heights but this was no problem at all. All the kids had a great time and the adults even more so. What a wonderful experience being in such beautiful scenery! Worth every penny! And we were the only ones in the canyon. The guides were so friendly and helpful and the made the trip excellent. I would no doubt do it again next time. We also stayed at the Pri Jakobu appartment. What a fantastic and unforgettable experience we had with guide Nejc on this canyoning tour! We were with our family with our son (15) and daughter (13). Nejc first taught us how to jump, slide and descent on a rope on an ‘easy part’ of a small river and then we went into the real canyon. That was awesome and at some times it looked scary at first sight. But with Nejc it felt very safe. He could very well assess who can do the jumps and who not. It turned out that the youngsters have no fear and jumped off every height and at some points the parents were helped by Nejc to lower down on a rope. Exploring the Soca Valley for the first time, we were very happy to have Nejc, very nice guy by the way 🙌, and Soca Valley Freeride as a guide. Out of their wide range of activities, we chose the canyoning trip down the Kozjac river. Thanks to Nejc's most valuable and professional advise during this trip (not my first canyoning trip), allowing every participant to explore their limits without pushing them, we enjoyed every second of it.
