Visiting this restaurant was an extraordinary experience that completely impressed us. As soon as we entered the venue, we were immediately taken aback by the unique design – the bar was crafted to resemble a ship, creating a truly special atmosphere. It felt like stepping onto a ship's deck, ready for a culinary journey. The entire setting was very unique and definitely added a special charm to the visit. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, instantly making us feel at home and comfortable.
The food was a true masterpiece. We started with soups that were outstanding – rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Next, we enjoyed the antipasti, which were a perfect choice – fresh ingredients, refined flavors, and carefully prepared. We particularly loved the seafood dishes – the fish, calamari, and shrimp were prepared to perfection, and every bite transported us into a world of refreshing marine flavors.
To finish, we ordered a rib-eye steak that left us all in awe – juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection. Each of us was blown away by how it was prepared – simply flawless!
Beyond the amazing food, the service was truly top-notch. The staff was always available, ready to offer advice and ensure our comfort. This restaurant is not just a culinary experience but a true oasis where you feel valued and welcomed.

What I dislike is that hamburgers we ate are frozen, thawed and then cooked food. The patty was quite plain, the bun was nothing special and I had a feeling that I am eating in one of those many many restaurants where you quickly forget you ate. Let me be clear, the food is not bad, but it is nothing special, bland, basic and just heated frozen food. The same with tiramisu, it is obviously from a nearby supermarket, thawed and served. That is a pity because a nice place like centre of Kobarid would benefit a lot from more elaborate food and not pre-prepared meals that are nothing special. Also struklji that were served were also probably bought in a nearby supermarket thawed and served. They are in no way comparable to Struklji served in Topli val restaurant, just 50 m away in Hotel Hvala. Having said all that I need to say that the price was fair for such a non eventful dinner, but I will not be going back there. Another day, walking on the streets we got there to say goodbye since we were leaving Kobarid and they say "hey, what's wrong with the review, i saw it and it was gone" (I said I deleted it because I put it on a fake profile of mine, unlike this). They push you like this and I wouldn't call it a relaxing experience in that way. My advice?: leave your customers decide by themselves to rate if they want. Everybody knows how to rate or don't care about it at all. No need QR code over the table after dessert. You've got everything to get good reviews!! Don't push your customers...we didn't come back another night just because of this, enough said... Apart from this, a place you could really enjoy a nice meal...
