I'm generally satisfied with the store,given the fact that I've been shopping there (regularly) since 2023. However, I'm troubled by the treatment I got from one of the cashiers while I was at the till on Friday 27 June (2025) around 13:00. Just after the items were scanned, I was given my change. As I was trying to put my money in my wallet she reached out to me to give me the receipt. Just before I put my wallet in my pocket, instead of giving it to my hand she just placed the receipt on the till table. I had also noticed that she did not pack the items inside the plastic bag while waiting. I didn't see it as a big deal since there was no one assisting her. However, as I was about to prepare to pack my own items, I noticed that the plastic bag was placed on the edge which subsequently fell off- she didn't even apologise. After I picked up the plastic bag I packed the items. As I proceeded to pack the items the customers who were behind me had their items being scanned. I noticed that she assisted them by placing their items in the plastic bag. I of course felt compelled to ask her why she assisted them on that regard but didn't for me. She responded with an unpleasant tone that this was an express till - she does not usually assist with packing and told me in Zulu: you were slow. I still have the receipt of that time...

Lakeside mall is really one of my favourites, it has almost anything you could possibly want. The inside has a ground floor and a second story .. It has an additional top floor on the building. The whole mall is great, and the people are always friendly, you always have food places, fast food places, beauty stores and clothing store. Jet, Woolworths, Mr price , Ackerman's, Pep, and Truworths. 64 The jewellery stores are also a plenty.. The Spur there is the best in Benoni.. Hands down. The clothing g store nearby that (PQ) is a great discount store - not only is it adorable but is does have good steals every now and then. The tobacco store is a nice browsing place. The Mr Price and other clothing stores will keep you entertained as the stores are almost never ending. The furniture stores are outside on the above areas , along with a few other stores like Cash Crusaders. The food stores and kiosks are spread throughout the mall but are always accessible.. The game and picknay are quite big and really nice to browse through and buy multiple things. The Lakeside Mall is very easy to locate, and a really nice mall to prose around.
