Milky Lane Chatsworth Centre — Local services in KwaZulu-Natal

The store and everything else is fine except for the service. On Saturday I decided to go there on my own and bought a waffle with ice-cream .I finished the waffle now I was eating my ice cream when the waiter came to my table and said I need to take another table because I'm only eating ice cream something that I can go out with, other people want to dine in. I couldn't even open my mouth to say anything I just looked around to see if people are looking at me ,while these other culture of people waiting by my table . I just left my full tub of ice cream and walked out. This made me feel so unwelcome. Moving to another table wasn't a problem but the approach told me something else. Also there was places everywhere as when I also came there was a lady on the same table I joined, but I was told tomove or go out with my icecream. was it because I'm black or I never spent millions. I'm so hurt and disappointed I always recommend my family to go there but...

Firstly I'd like you say that my wife orders from you guys twice a week,we don't have any problems at that time but what I experienced yesterday was totally unfair (racist)as my daughter wanted to eat in,so we did an ice cream each which Costed us almost R50,which is not a problem, so we Almost half way through a black employee say to the old Muslim male that he must not allow us to sit at that corner I'm sure he's the manager there but why didn't they tell us early it's only for bookings and not sittings as the black lady said very racistly.....that's why I have you guys a 1 if I could I would...

We travel often to Durban from Gauteng on holiday ,and we must make a stop at the Chatsworth Milky Lane .Its the best .The service and dining is excellent .The owner takes pride in his business and the staff always go an extra mile to make our experience a memorable one . I would definately recommend Chatsworth Milky Lane to all you ice cream lovers .The bar one waffle Divine and off course the faithfull cream soda floats one of my old time favourites .HATS OFF TO THE CHATSWORTH MILKY...
