Small little bird sanctuary. Would be great if the dam can be cleared as the reeds are taking over. It is not clean. The birdhide looks great. The paths around the overgrown dam area are cute. We saw a few birds. The gate times on google are wrong. It closes at 15h00. We were locked inside . Luckily the guide stays close and knew our car was parked there.

What are the operating times for this establishment? Today 30 Dec at 13:30 the gates are being locked. And the board says operating until 16:00 online its 15:30. There is an associate with a City of Tshwane bakkie ignoring us flat, but...

Never open when sign, website or A4 printed page states it is open (times are all different). Park has been locked for 3 days straight now with no calls or emails asking for reasons...
