Leopardsong Manor — Hotel in Gauteng

Excellent staff who were very warm. Clean rooms, early breakfast availability, beautiful grounds, several quiet spaces to work, very homey feel, access to kitchenette. Was also very safe. Only minor downsides (they have not put me off staying there again) were:||- a few insects and ants in the bathroom - attributable to the fact that there’s a lot of greenery||- would have liked a few more options for breakfast (eg. pancakes, waffles, alternative milk options like soy or almond milk to accommodate guests who are lactose intolerant)||- appreciated the tight security for the estate but it was also a bit of an inconvenience whenever we needed to get an Uber to pick us/drop us off or a friend was visiting or getting food delivered because a code is needed for every entry/exit and it is only valid for 30mins. It also meant having to call the hotel manager to request a code even when returning late at night which we always felt bad about. A daily code shared with all guests would have been great. ||- You’re on your own for lunch and dinner so just need to plan appropriately if you want food delivered. ||||Despite the above I truly enjoyed my stay and would 100% come back. My stays at Leopardsong Manor are always truly exceptional, and I highly recommend them. The staff are incredibly welcoming, and the atmosphere warm and inviting. ||Their rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Literally a home away from home. Just a short drive from Sandton and we reached serenity. The staff are amazing and the way the place is managed makes you feel so free, like you're at home. We had breakfast everyday over looking the golf course, it was so relaxing. The restaurant on the property also had breath-taking views and mouth watering food. The rooms were spacious cozy and ours had a bidet which was a lively surprise, ha ha! A very nice short-left should you wish to get away from...
