Steers Engen Technopark — Restaurant in Gauteng

Around 12 today we called Steers in Highveld to place an order and I was assisted by Vusi Maduzela, I placed an order and requested for a delivery. He said he will go out of his way to deliver for us in 45 minutes, I made him aware just how hungry we were. He assured me that the order will definitely arrive. Around 1 I called to follow up and I was told he went to the bathroom, we still waited hoping someone will arrive still nothing. Finally at 14H20 I spoke to one of his colleagues she politely told said "I heard him but we do not deliver and I don't know what he was talking about". I always have a horrible experience when ordering online with these guys but today was it.

I ordered chips online at 12h34pm 28 Sep 2024 and collected the chips at 12h53pm on the same day. When I got home and ipened the package I realise that Steers has given me burnt chips. Is it the strategy to give patrons that order online burnt food as this is not the first time this happens?

Went there to get some lunch. Service was reasonable I guess... i mean I did get my food relatively quickly and that's the main thing I suppose. I guess common courtesy like responding to a greeting and saying "heres your meal enjoy!" as opposed to simply getting it tossed at you without a word, are asking to much these days. Sigh... I guess it depends on who you are in society, as other more distinguished guests behind me weren't...
