Update: After 5 months and A LOT of harassing, my sofa finally arrived yesterday. The sofa itself is perfect and the delivery men were wonderful. I can't in good conscience recommend this business because of their lack of communication and lack of taking personal responsibility for the situation or offering a proper apology. But I am changing my rating from a 1 to a 2 since the sofa finally arrived and in the end, things were solved.
I am very sorry to have to write this review but I have no choice, since I cannot get them to answer me. This company took my money 4 months ago for a sofa and has disappeared. They told me it would take 2 months. They didn't even provide me with proof of my payment after I transferred money to them. After many calls and emails to find out about the status of my order, the manager, Diego Eiroa, told me he would provide me information "tomorrow". Well, many days have passed and no word, and again no response to my inquiries. It would be one thing if they would just give me an update. The furniture company is owned by a young man named Diego Eiroa Ortega, who inherited the company from his father. Apparently, many other people have been tricked and swindled by Diego Eiroa Ortega. On February 4, 2025, Diego Eiroa Ortega requested a 50% deposit (780 €) for the Gazzda Fawn Bed that we researched extensively and ordered through his furniture company. The bed was supposed to be delivered to our home in Galicia in April 2025. When we inquired about the delay, Diego Eiroa Ortega was completely unresponsive and then later claimed to have zero recollection of the transaction, despite email correspondence he wrote to us, as well as a bank transfer receipt from Abanca for 780 €. Es cierto que cuentan con buenos muebles y algunas ideas interesantes de decoración, pero la logística de entrega, la calidad de los montajes y, especialmente, la atención del responsable, Diego Eiroa, dejan mucho que desear.
En mi caso, tras encargar un pedido de alrededor de más 30.000 euros, estuve meses esperando el sofá, la mesa y otros elementos principales, sin recibir respuesta durante semanas. Diego no atiende ni devuelve llamadas, ni contesta correos cuando el asunto no es de su interés.
En varios de los montajes quedaron errores importantes que tuve que detectar yo mismo, y cuya subsanación tardó semanas. La gota que colma el vaso: unos meses después, al desmontarla para evaluar opciones, observé que una balda había sido instalada con solo dos puntos de anclaje, cuando debe llevar cuatro. Los otros dos tojinos estaban empotrados e inservibles, dejando además la pared agujereada. Los montadores se marcharon sin informar de nada.
En cuanto a los baños: espejos sin replanteo previo, que hubo que recortar y quedaron excesivamente elevados; un radiador toallero de potencia inferior y de la mitad del precio acordado, lo cual yo mismo tuve que advertir; un papel recién instalado que quedó con una quemadura por uso inadecuado de productos de limpieza…
En todo momento, la actitud de los responsables de ambas empresas, Manel y Garal, fue prepotente y defensiva, lejos de lo que cabría esperar en una atención profesional. En resumen, muy lejos del prestigio que se les atribuye...
