MediaMarkt — Local services in Almeria

I've purchased few items from Media Markt. When I was buying my very expensive Samsung phone I was told by the seller that if I buy additional insurance I will be given replacement. Anyway, my phone broke but it was battery and software issue. Took it back, was told that its need to be sent to Samsung service. Come back home, called Guarantia Plus and a woman told me, to drive and take my phone back from store as she will replace for me. Drive again to almeria (100 km one way) and was told that I will have to pay €140 euro. Decide to leave it with service as is on the guarantee. Last Saturday I did collect my phone, only to find out at home that the service took out my screen protector to repair, but didn't fit it back. So I need to drive again 200 km for that protector.And without my screen protector if anything happen i would be responsible!!!!That's a joke shop. I will never buy again, do not get failed that the guarantee you pay extra will cover anything. Its a scam. Just bought new house and need all new and equipment, but definitely not from Media Martkt. Soo disappointed with a such a worldwide...

MediaMark Torrecàrdenas Almería has everything electronic & appliances but busy & poor customer service, no competition near by for what they stand for. I mean yes there’s another name brand big store but no comparison with what MediaMart has to offer including electronics. Forget customer service, they spent so much time with one customer including big personal conversations ignoring the many customers waiting in line. Since they are the only game in that area, they don’t have to worry about losing customers! It might be best to go during the hrs between 2 PM to 5 pm but even so good luck! First visit to one. A bit overwhelmed but a friendly member of staff appeared from nowhere. Lucky for me spoke some English. She took me to some other ladies in the phone department who then found for me what I wanted a new phone charger. Unfortunately when I got home early it was the wrong one. As I live a hour and half away was in a panic about bringing it back for an exchange. But should be able to get back by the 30th April. Will do an update after exchange visit. Fingers crossed.
