Private Chef Marbella — Local services in Benalmádena

My wife and I and two other couples rented a villa in Marbella for a week in early September 2024. We were all there celebrating our anniversaries and wanted to do something special that captured the flavor of the Costa del Sol, and to that end I got in touch with Sergio at privatechefmarbella.com and arranged a custom dinner at the villa.

It was a perfect, 5-star, culinary and social celebration. From the moment that our chef and butler showed up (exactly on time) until they left a few hours later, we were thoroughly indulged with exceptional food, drink, and service. They started us out with custom sangria cocktails which we all enjoyed while they set the table and began preparing the food.

After lingering over a flood of both hot and cold tapas, we savored their traditional paella and finally, a rich and satisfying tiramisu. We were all completely stuffed and couldn’t move, which was OK because we didn’t have to, as their team completely cleaned up the kitchen and left us with enough leftovers for another meal.

Qualche settimana fa, insieme ad alcuni miei amici, abbiamo deciso di visitare la Costa del Sol, e così abbiamo affittato una villa a Marbella. Visto che se avessimo dovuto anche cucinare, non avremmo avuto il tempo necessario per visitare tutti i posti fantastici della zona, ci siamo rivolti a Cooking Holiday Spain, per un servizio di chef privato a domicilio. E' stata senza ombra di dubbio l'esperienza migliore di tutta la vacanza! Ci siamo sentiti tutti come dei re, un servizio davvero di prima classe, senza contare poi il cibo: un menù tutto spagnolo di tapas & paella. Una cena incredibile, con una selezione di tapas che ha accontentato anche i miei amici più schizzinosi, e una paella gigante cucinata di fronte ai nostri occhi, con tantissima carne e pesce freschissimo; e per terminare il tutto un ottimo brownie con gelato. Rimasti estremamente soddisfatti, abbiamo deciso di farci organizzare un'altra cena, e fra tutti i menù che ci hanno offerto (ce n'è per tutti i gusti!) abbiamo scelto il BBQ, visto che avevamo una bella griglia nella villa che avevamo affittato. Anche la seconda volta non ci hanno deluso affatto! Tutto cucinato dal vivo, abbiamo scelto la selezione di carne e pesce, composta da spiedini di pollo, costolette di maiale, selezione di salsicce spagnole (la morcilla assolutamente da provare!) e gamberoni alla griglia; il tutto accompagnato da deliziose insalate e verdure di contorno; per finire con la miglior crema catalana che abbia mai provato!

L'unico rimpianto di questa vacanza è che non abbiamo avuto il tempo di provare uno degli splendidi tour che offre Cooking Holiday Spain, ma già abbiamo prenotato per l'anno prossimo, perchè sono ancora tanti i luoghi e cibi da scoprire, e farlo con una guida eccezionale e soprattutto esperta, sarà sicuramente un'esperienza indimenticabile!

This private chef experience was absolutely perfect!! The food was so fresh and delicious and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. We had a delicious 4 course meal that started with 4 different summer salads, a fresh fish and seafood course, a grilled meat course and dessert!! We were celebrating my sisters birthday and they prepared a lovey birthday cake for her. The jugs of Sangria and wine pairings were perfect.
