THE POOL 2,0 — Local services in Ciutadella

We went to The Pool , as a family of six, for lunch and to spend the afternoon at the bar so the lads 13 & 16 could spend some time in the pool. We sat down and ordered drinks while we looked at the menu. When the drinks arrived we weren’t asked for our food order and then we were completely ignored for a nearly an hour. We tried to attract the waiters attention, there were at least 3 and then went up to one them and asked to order food , with you in a minute we were told twice, no one came near or looked in our direction. Two other tables who sat down after us had had they orders taken and when the first one was served with food, we asked for the bill for our drinks only then did someone come to take our order , we again asked for the drinks bill and were kept waiting for ten minutes. It was also our dearest drinks bill...

We visited here as we had booked accommodation nearby, and the kids loved the pool area and water slide.

We enjoyed lunch and a few Mahou's here, and then went to check in at our place - this is where Luke and Peter from The Pool really shone as it turned out that our accommodation was a scam/fraudulent advertisement and so we were suddenly without a place to stay! "Irish Luke" and Peter (fluent Spanish-speaker) were instrumental in helping and supporting us whilst we were sorting things out with the Travel site and providing "translation services".

Unfortunately our surprise new, replacement accommodation was over 50km away and so we couldn't revisit the guys, but we would happily go to the Pool again and spend time there with the family when next...

my two friends and I visited the pool recently and had the best day! the man working the bar was so lovely and accomodating and made so many recommendations for us and also made special request drinks. The facilities and pool were extremely clean, the drinks were cheap and tasty and the food was excellent, the overall vibe of the place was super nice! would recommend...
