Sala Vogue — Local services in Granada

While the doormen were nice and tried to correct the situation me and my friends couldn’t stand to be there a second longer. I’ve been there many times over the last six years and I always liked the bar but when we went to order our second drinks for the night the bartender kept ignoring us in favor of Spanish guests. In the end my friend waved his arms to grab their attention out of desperation. The bartender was fairly rude although really we should have been rude for waiting so long. He threatened to kick us out if we said another word he said. By the time we regrouped with our friends I felt so uncomfortable that I didn’t drink my drink nor did my friend and so we went home. We paid for the drink to enter and in the end ordering a drink is what left us so unhappy. After 6 years of going here I don’t know if I’ll ever be back. Maybe in another year or so when I’ve forgotten the whole event I will go back. I always recommended this club when friends come to town but if they employ a sever who can’t be so patient and kind as to wait on guests (which is the job of a server which I should know because I did it for 5 years) then he is sadly has no tolerance and little competence in this work field. He will end the end survive only by the bread of his parents and not by any talent that he possesses. In my many years in Granada I’ve never been more disappointed and discriminated against. I did get offended by the rude bar tender telling us in Spanish that we are gonna be out (if we just ordered another drink?)..I don’t know. He was getting back to us after we ordered and unfortunately my friend did speak Spanish so he translated what the bar tender meant and it was just shocking..we left the place immediately. It’s a shame because we did have a great nite. Anyway enjoy Sala Vogue but watch out for rude...

Una discoteca clásica de Granada, de corte alternativo, buenos DJ's y por consecuencia, música, indie, electronica, rock... Los cuartos de baño son muy limitados, unisex en los días en los que no abren la segunda planta, y suelen estár muy sucios y descontrolados, con el vater desbordado en ocasiones. Le va tocando reforma a un local que ya lleva tiempo pidiendolo. Es un sitio en ocasiones disfrutable, aunque la experiencia que podría ser aún positiva, se ve muy empañada por un portero/responsable o encargado con aires de superioridad, actitud machista y muy violenta, con el cual ya se han visto y se conocen varios encontronazos y que se está volviendo cada vez más común tenerlos. El ambiente se ha enrarecido mucho en los últimos años dentro y fuera, y nunca sabes lo que puede pasar, si ser expulsado, terminar en una pelea, con algún acoso o comentarios desagradables y fuera de lugar. Una pena que no evolucione para bien un lugar con tanto nombre, necesario para el ocio nocturno y con un buen ambiente en días ocasionales... hay alternativas más seguras en Granada, a pesar de todo, aún tiene la oportunidad de dejar de ser tugurio y volver a su esplendor si hacen...
