Nice place with unpleasant waiters and too edulcorated sweets.
That’s my experience: I went there with my wife for breakfast. I asked for a “French toast with honey, marmalade and red fruits”. The waitress literally throw us the plates of food on the table (almost no people inside, so no rush needed), so I got a 2cm high of the cheapest white box-bread with an invisible layer of marmalade, 5 (five) blueberries and less then a HALF strawberry sliced on the top of it (and no honey). I tried it but the mix of it was so dry and “cheap” for 4,50€ of toast. So I said to the waitress that I really didn’t like it and a “French toast” must be - at least - toasted! She answered very upset that it was the best “masa madre”, the slice of bread was even higher than usual (I could say thank you, but I didn’t ask for) and there was nothing wrong on the plate itself. So I ordered an almond croissant in substitution, and so I got… a (good) croissant with inside a marzapane-like cream extremely sweet. At the moment of bills, I paid for both items and the “nice” waitress of course didn’t want to split the dry and cheap not-toasted French toast with nothing on it. I am so sorry, I really appreciate your effort to understand what happened, but I really don’t think your staff is aware about what customer care is. I didn’t take pictures of the French...
Read moreCame for a coffee and a light snack on the go, but was pleasantly surprised with a nice space to sit with full service and breakfast. Food was quite fast, even though the place was packed our table of 4 was in and out with full bellies in under 30 minutes.
I had the ‘brioche’ with eggs and payoyo cheese. It’s not really a brioche, but a thick cut of toast. No complaints though, it was exceptional. Some of the best cooked eggs I’ve had at a cafe. Very velvety soft scramble and the cheese was fantastic. Really surprising, ended up being one of my favourite meals in Spain (not very Spanish I know).
Had a V60 coffee, which was a bit underwhelming but totally acceptable. It was a long shot to get a pourover at a busy cafe but they still did a decent job! And it was actually quite fast, they did a good job of getting this out. Good coffee offerings for the specialty coffee nerds as well. Overall the food was a 10/10 and the coffee was great, if I wanted a coffee on the go I’d come if I were in the area or if my other go to was closed, but for food and coffee combo this is a no brainer.
Menu is in Spanish only, which is great because it tells you this isn’t a tourist trap. Just...

I discovered this cafe on the way to the train station and noticed it because it was so cutely decorated and seemed to be quite popular.
I came back later on to try this place and loved it.
Coffee: top of the line. They know how to make a proper latte. They had one of the best Arabic coffees I’ve tried in the city. It’s clear they know what they’re doing here. Also one of the few places in Granada that have almond milk if that’s you’re thing.
Food: I tried a couple of Arabic desserts, the nut honey cake and pistachio pastry. Pretty good and paired well with the coffee. They also have a variety of cakes available that I didn’t try but looked quite popular and appetizing.
Vibe: there were a mix of groups of friends catching up, couples enjoying a brunch together, or people doing work on their laptops. It’s obviously a very popular cafe among locals so you may need to wait a bit to get a table. The wifi is fast and the coffee is strong and the vibes are immaculate so definitely come here whether you’re looking for a place to catch up on work to catch up...
