:) A tiny shop that had just about everything you could want for gear to get adventurous at the beach. Lady who was working there had all the time to answer questions and made every effort to find sizes and colors within our lower price / budget range despite the majority of their options being high end / long lasting gear. We came in looking for a towel and kids swim suit bottom as it was a spontaneous trip to the beach and her shop was the only one in the area that sold regular beach towels alongside top end gear without having to trek back South to the Mall C.C. Las Arenas or further North up the beach to find a variety shop. In the end we got a nice Microfiber Towel for €15. Had we more time we could have looked at more of their options as they did have phone covers for underwater / water resistance as well and all kinds of good looking gear. I've been coming to Rock Island Surfshop for years now, and it never disappoints! They have an amazing selection of surf equipment and a great selection of clothing & accessories.

Recently, after a flight from Germany, my surfboard got seriously damaged during transport. I was pretty devastated, but the team at Rock Island jumped in and saved my surf trip! They repaired the board quickly and professionally – even though it was Easter week with public holidays, they managed to fix it in no time. Honestly, you couldn't even tell it had been broken. I’m beyond grateful for their help.

The saleslady was incredible nice and complaisant! We wanted to rent 2 surfboards for 2 weeks. Other surf shops had exorbitant prices or said no because the time period was too long. We made a very good deal with Rock Island. The surfboards were pretty low priced. We came back a second time because of ropes to fasten the boards on a car. We got them for free (to rent of course). We had a problem with our car and had to give back the boards after a few days. Normally she shoudnt have to give some money back. But she wanted to help and so we got some money back. Highly...
