Bazar La Marea — Local services in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

This is a one-stop-for-everything kind of store, all you would expect from a corner shop and more. I've been suitably impressed with everything that I've tried here. Their homemade cheesecake is moist, with the perfect level of sweetness, as so are their brownies. Most places overbake theirs, they become too dry. Not so here. At €1 a piece, it's ready to succumb to temptation! The 3-chocolate cake, however, was a disappointment. Couldn't taste the chocolate, more like cocoa. On the other hand, the Snickers cake is spectacular. I'd expected it to be rather sickly sweet, but I was pleasantly surprised. Warning: it's highly addictive!

The sweet potato pies (truchas) aren't their own, but are very good. Their pre-packed cooked food comes from a third party too, which is brought in daily (don't come before 1pm, it may not have arrived yet). I tried their chicken rice (a sort of paella), but, while being tasty and not salty, I was slightly disappointed. I'm not a big eater, but I find the portion small and it has very little chicken too. El día que acudo a este bazar estaba buscando un lugar para desayunar algo rápido antes de ir a trabajar , tiene un buen horario abre muchísimo antes que otros bazares y bares. La dependienta que me atendió era joven y muy educada y amable ,iba a comprar un croissant procesado y ella rápidamente me recomendó unos artesanales que eran más baratos y se notaba que estaban más deliciosos eso me hizo sentirme cuidada como clienta y bien atendida ,espero que el negocio prospere y si estoy cerca de ese lugar otro día no dudaré en volver a pasar por ahí.

Tiene variedad de todo tipo de cosas ,la ubicación es excelente cerca de la avenida marítima prácticamente a una calle ,la parada de bus está a dos calles y luce bastante...
