Absolutely diabolical customer service. 2 month's ago I looked on their website to confirm the tv unit I wanted was in stock ( it was ) 45 minute drive to Palma to find none in stock, so put that down to all being sold in the 60 minutes since checking the web site. I was advised by staff to register for a alert when new stock arrived, which I did, 4 days later I received a alert that the unit was in stock checked website it was, 45 minutes later I arrived at the store to be told none in stock, I pointed out I had received a alert and their website STILL advised it was in stock, this was met with a shrug of the shoulders, they then was advised me to pay for the unit and they would inform me when it arrived which I did, sometime later I was checking there website and notice the unit in stock I rang the store to be told yes they had them so with some trepidation I went back to the store to find indeed they did have them NO ALERT.
My next experience. I ordered and paid for a sofa to be delivered 2 weeks before I had to return to the UK explaining I had flights booked for the 3rd of June, I was advised this had been noted, a few days later I received a delivery date of the 2nd of June, I then arranged for disposal of the sofa bed it was replacing. At 3pm on the day of delivery I rang ikea to say it had not arrived to be told not to worry it would be delivered, at 5pm I rang ikea again to be told the samething, by 7pm it became obvious it was not coming so rang ikea again to be told nothing she could do as the delivery firm's office would be closed now....... frustrated doesn't begin...

Just when you think it can’t get worse the delivery guy was even more rude ! Totally had no idea what he was doing .. and mistaken the adres and other clients with us 2 times .. He showed up in the hour I specifically told him I was not there .. and than called me again that he was in a rush ! So I had to rush home ?? He told me he couldn’t get up to the house with his van / same size van we have .. Ufffff it just got worse and worse ..

As the woman below described, prices are not cheap. It seems much higher priced than other IKEA and they don’t have a lot of stock.
I was too roped into getting the “IKEA Family” card. I too signed up with my passport. 5 visits later (each where I was told I had to wait one month before it would work, how convenient) I still had no activated card. No one at the Family Help desk knew why it wasn’t working, even though this was their department. I made an official complaint and their token Irish employee (who isn’t from the correct department) called me and said I would receive a cheque for €60 and all of my previous transactions would eventually show on the card, again after one month of waiting! Well I never received a card, or the money! However from the very beginning, what was now 10 months ago, I did get plenty of spam and both by email and post. What a joke 😆
