We had an incredible experience with Del Car taxi service. I hurt my ankle in Zubiri and needed a taxi from Llarratz. We contacted Del Car and talked to the owner, Ivan. Originally we were going to catch the bus coming back from SJDPP. Ivan was unable to get a hold of the driver and was concerned we would have to wait a long time; he came personally to pick us up. The car was clean, comfortable and Ivan was incredibly personable. He went the extra mile and contacted our accommodation to get permission to drive in the historic center of Pamplona to drop me off at the front door since I was injured. We used DelCar Services for a ride from Pamplona airport to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port and couldn’t have been happier. Communication was excellent — Ivan (our contact, maybe the owner?) texted with me directly, and I sent him our flight info from Madrid. When we arrived, a beautiful, super-comfortable black van was waiting. Another pilgrim asked to join our ride, and Ivan said “no problem,” adding him for a small fee.
