Deep disappointment and frustration with the experience I had a few months ago at Golf del Sur.

I would like to make special mention of the treatment by the staff, especially a woman named Maca. During our stay, this person behaved extremely rudely and shouted at my husband and me. We felt very upset by this situation, as we had never experienced anything similar in all the years we have been playing golf.

Unfortunately, the visit turned out to be a terrible experience. From the moment we arrived, we could tell that the conditions of the course were not in good shape. The grass was uneven and there were neglected areas, which negatively affected our playing experience.

As loyal players and golf enthusiasts, it is disheartening to encounter these circumstances at a place that have a lot of potential. We expected a pleasant and respectful experience, but unfortunately, that was not what we found.

I wish to share my experience with you so that you can take action and improve the situation. As customers, we deserve respectful treatment, kind staff and a course in optimal conditions to enjoy our favorite sport.

I hope you take the necessary actions to ensure that future players do not have to face a...

More info about The Cub. I have already posted one review about the condition of The Club. Now four days after our stay I can add one more thing. On the fourth day, when we returned at 21:00, we found that our room had been entered and only the towels had been changed (I did not ask for this service). I immediately noticed that one of my towels was missing - I had two towels of the same color, but one was missing from the dryer. The trash can that was full was not emptied. On the floor where we knew where there was garbage, they stayed in the same place, that is, the floor was also not cleaned; only some towels were placed on top of the bed. I immediately went to the reception to complain at 21:00, but the door was locked, and this is the door to the reception, to the bar, to the restaurant, to the pool, to the billiards - that is, everything was locked at 21:00 - already time apparently according to the staff and management of the hotel at 21:00 should go to bed and sleep. I will repeat and confirm my opinion from the previous review - I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and conditions in this hotel! I do not recommend it and will not come...

This review isn't a true reflection of the course but more the people playing on it. 5 and a half hour round was played. Just done a full week golfing in the canaries and this course even though fun and challenging is only remembered as the course with slow english ex pat golfers. Even though the marshall told the 4 ball infront of us several times to pick up pace of play they didnt. To the golfers who play regular on a saturday reading this. You should take your 54 handicaps to a driving range or pitch and putt. You all shouldnt be allowed on the course and should have lessons on etiquette. Apart from that nice course. If booking ask in advance if a 12 ball of geriatrics have entered.

UPDATE: went back 2 days later. Picked a later tee of time hoping a better pace. Worse than 3 days previously. Marshalls directing people to play first Tee again instead of 10th, didnt help the pace. Problem is too many unskilled golfers on the course. Americans infront sharing clubs/shanking balls left n right/not raking bunkers. Avoid at all costs. Management need to be asking to see peoples handicaps before letting them on...

Love this area as its where my mum lives BUT!! If a ball comes your way and hits you even though your not on the golf course and walking along the street or sat having a quiet drink in encanto they do not care! Golf course needs to sort out how they respect the people who live around there if that was to happen in the UK it would be forced to take measures to insure people walking by are not hit by balls I have the ball here that come flying my way so can't deny it. People laughed and walked off and nothing happened. If that was my nan or mum I wouldn't of stopped as it will really damage someone one day if they do not take extra measures to assure this doesn't happen to near by residents. They are ment to only allow players who know how to play golf but seem to let anyone play just to make extra cash, not good enough. Hopefully when out next year something has changed as its not on. But if my mum gets hit by a ball I will be contacting solicitors as they have been warned.

Fantastic golf course. I have been on holiday here for two weeks managed to get 3 rounds in (las America’s- abama and here ) and this is by far the best. the greens were immaculate the fairways were tidy and neatly cut even the tee boxes were spot on.the green keepers need a round of applause cause you can tell a lot of work goes in to them. As for the course they are some very nice holes and views and some with water that come in to play which I like. They have a buggy bar which I saw twice the man was pleasant and pleased to help. I don’t have a bad word to say about the course. The only thing that was missing was a gps in the buggy as the other two courses had but it’s not that major as it still gets you round the course like any other. Also to mention it was cheaper than the other two. If I come back Tenerife I would quite gladly just play this course. Great stuff keep up the good work👏👏

I think this is deserves a better rating overall. This has some great holes to test all standards with some lovely views. When the wind is affecting you, it’s quite a challenge. The course isn’t too long and we played from the white tees to make it just over 6200 yards. We played the front nine on the North Course then the back nine on the Links. Both quite different and should be name swapped as the North plays around the sea coast and the Links course plays around the town area. Whilst the course was very good, what we really appreciated afterwards was the staff and food at the restaurant. Very friendly and a family affair, so we felt really welcomed. The food choices are typical golf fare, but very generous portions and decent prices. We’ve played twice already and will be back for one more game before we leave
