A small station in the Northern Sweden, constructed in the late 19th century as part of the Luleå-Kiruna-Narvik line, which was itself created to export iron ore from the Swedish city of Kiruna to the Norwegian coast. Through it pass 2 passenger trains per direction per day, and a large number of carrying iron ore. It serves the tiny village of Abisko, near the Abisko National Park, one of the most important wildlife areas in Sweden.
