Terrible purchase experience and unfair practices.
I ordered a sofa that was not delivered on time. One week before the arrival I received an email stating that the textile I had chosen was finished and therefore (after 4 weeks waiting) I had to wait for 3 more weeks. I tried to cancel the order but the company threatened with a penalty of about 25% of the invoice value.
I panicked! I had just sold my sofa, I had no sitting area in the living room (not possible to enjoy an evening with friends or family for four weeks). After searching on the internet I found laws related to consumer rights and it turned out that I was fully right to cancel the order without penalties. I called the company with the law reference and they ultimately recognised I could cancel.
I am very unhappy for the way I have been treated. The feeling is that of being trapped in a purchase from where there is no way out. Of course, I have now managed to cancel, but I am still without a sofa and need to search for one.

I was then offered two alternatives as "compensation". They offered to swap the sofa in 1-2 months time or a 4500 SEK bolia-voucher. I chose the swap of course. -I still recommend this shop since it has good designs but the quality is questionable. You pay more for the design than quality...

Dagens prissĂ€ttning Ă€r ju helt absurt kontra kvalitĂ©n. Jag har en tresitssoffa North som nu Bolia tycker att 38 000+ kr Ă€r rimligt, för mig jag betalade 16âkr. Soffan ser efter 6 Ă„r förskrĂ€cklig ut, nopprig och utblekt. Undersidan pĂ„ sittkuddklĂ€dseln sprack efter nĂ„got Ă„r. Matbordet Ă€r jag inte sĂ€ker pĂ„ om det finns kvar, liknar modellen yatch. Betalade ca 12â för det vi har. Yatch 40â nu. VĂ„rat kĂ€nns vĂ€ldigt mycket som laminat fast vitlaserad ek enl beskrivningen. Blivit smĂ„ bubblor under ytan pĂ„ sina stĂ€llen. Bordet annars ganska nöjd med ffa utfragsmöjligheten med 2 ilĂ€ggsskivor som förlĂ€nger ordentligt. IlĂ€ggsskivorna ser likadana ut som modellen yatch. Vi betalade 1200kr/skiva, nu kostar en 5000kr. Absurt. Slutligen har vi 4 svarta matstolar Chicago utan armstöd. Estetiskt tycker jag dom fortfarande Ă€r riktigt snygga. Tror vi vet af lade 2500/stol, nu kostar dom nĂ€stan 10â/stol. Fick reklamera samtliga stolar eftersom fĂ€rgen skavdes av i princip av sig sjĂ€lv efter nĂ„gra veckor. Höll nĂ„got bĂ€ttre sen men skulle nĂ„n sĂ€ga att det Ă€r 10 000kr-kvalitĂ© skulle jag flatgarva. Sammantaget kan jag efter kunna se vad Bolia levererar i kvalitĂ© över nĂ„gra Ă„r inte tycka annat Ă€n det Ă€r absolut absurd prissĂ€ttning nĂ€rmast bedrĂ€geri. Skulle gĂ€rna se en motivering varför man sĂ€tter sĂ„na priser dĂ€r man pĂ„ riktigt beskriver materialval, tillverkning mm kontra andra producenter och inte bara med fluffiga ord. Bolia har definitivt estetiskt tilltalade produkter men prissĂ€ttningen kontra kvalitĂ©n gör att jag som Ă€gare snabbt kĂ€nner ett behov av att bortförklara att vi betalade betydligt mindre Ă€n dagens priser för inte framstĂ„...
