Just ended my massage session (CHF490 for 90min). Thought it was a deep tissue massage, turned out to be a deep meat/ deep bone massage.

I requested for more pressure in the beginning. This is not a typical pressure point massage. When the pressure was expected to be more, mild ones were given. On the flip side, for instance on my wrists, the therapist gripped her hands real tight around my wrist as she glided towards fingers. I promise, the electric shock from the pain in the wrists will wake you up instantly (way more efficient than caffeine). My wrists are still hurting as i’m typing.

Pressure points was a journey of teasers and the accuracy of being able to dodge almost 99% of pressure points. When pressure was applied, pressure point was off by 2-3cm. When pressure point was right, there was almost no pressure applied. Most of the time was just kneading of my meat 🙃 Hope i’ll shed some weight after this.

If you think you can head out after the session presentably, you’re wrong. My fiance got a shock when he saw me after the session. My hair was decorated in an ungodly manner with the aroma oil, not to mention the tangled hair not in Rapunzel style, but lion king style.

I was woken up way before the voltage in my wrists. My peaceful slumber was disturbed the horrifying feelings of the strands of my hair falling off from my aroma oil coated arm!! I had to endure throughout the remaining 1-hour or so. Oh my.

The therapist neither washed nor cleaned her hands on a towel before head massage. Instead, right after the neck massage, the greasy hands proceeded straight into my hairs, meticulously ensuring every single strand is coated with the luxurious aroma oil.

Still a 3 star due to the view, service of my fiancé’s therapist and the amazing pool view!!

Would definitely come back again, but perhaps not the massage or maybe i’ll opt for a different...

You can come here either as a guest of the hotel or if you just need a break from the daily life!

100% recommend to come here, why? Before you reach to the spa you need to go through a corridor that has a sense of calmness and serenity. The scent they have will relax you and transport you to a place of serenity. You can take your time to the spa and learn about the construction and stages of the Alpine Spa and the luxurious hotel.

Once in the spa, the level of professionalism is unreal! All the members of the staff I encountered knew everything and they were very helpful. Not just that, if they didn't know they would tell and guide you to someone that can help.

The spa itself, the views, the atmosphere, the space... There are no words to describe what you can experience there. They even have a naturist/nudist section - well indicated so noone will get offended.

In terms of rules, I loved they had very CLEAR signs of when the phones are allowed to be used to take pics, and, if they see you breaking the rules they will let you know immediately and kindly ask you respect other members in the area.

A few minor suggestions to make the experience absolutely flawless: • Complimentary parking for guests would be a thoughtful touch. • A designated smoking area on Level 2 would provide added convenience. • More dining and snack options would enhance the overall experience, allowing guests to enjoy a wider variety of refreshments. • Extended opening hours in certain areas of the spa could allow guests to enjoy the facilities at a more flexible pace.
