該廟前身為主祀三山國王的慶安宮，而後改建為神農宮，至民國八十年代前後更改廟名為五穀先帝廟。慶安宮於1933年，因火災而被燒毀，但神像卻未被燒毀，因此居民暫時將神像安置於民宅中持續祭拜。 1950年，由鄉鎮紳士們共同討論重建事宜，並決定從主祀三山國王改為主祀五穀先帝(神農大帝)、供奉三山國王，並改廟名為神農宮。其後於1980年、1984年分別有大規模的增建工程，並於1986年完成現今呈現的樣貌。主祀神為掌管農業之神的五穀先帝，因土城五穀先帝廟於重建之時，正好是台灣早期農業發展的時代，因此決定將主祀神由原來為了祈求平安的三山國王改為掌管農業的五穀先帝。廟宇左側供俸神祇依序有：觀音佛祖、三聖恩主、文昌帝君、太歲星君。廟宇右側供奉神祇依序有：三山國王、天上聖母、玄壇財神、招財虎爺將軍。 2007年時，廟方為準備迎接農曆新年，因此將五穀先帝座前的藥童重新上漆，卻發現其中一尊藥童身後長出一朵靈芝。由於廟裡主祀的五穀先帝即為嚐百草的神農大帝，又靈芝是屬於古代珍奇的治療藥品，故廟方認為是五穀先帝雲遊到土城採藥的徵兆。

✨️🧧✨️位於土城捷運站旁，覺得土城的五穀先帝廟特別靈驗有感應，很感謝有各神明的守護和開智慧，就算生活遇到不如意，來拜拜後會感受到引領和勇氣，繼續面對困境考驗。土城五穀先帝廟供奉著神農大帝，並同樣供奉三山國王、觀音佛祖、三聖恩主、文昌帝君、註生娘娘、月老星君/月老公公、陳靖姑娘娘、天上聖母/媽祖娘娘、玄壇財神、太歲星君們，還有土地公公跟土地婆婆等神祇。廟裡時常更換不同的供奉鮮花，而且有時會放音樂很舒服讓人安心，都能感受廟方的用心。神明誕辰或節日也會有祭祀和活動，是信仰活動活絡的地方。旁邊有金城公園和靠近捷運土城站。除了大年初一跟特定節日外，平時經過也都會停下拜拜或內心祈禱，祝福風調雨順、平安健康、大家幸福內心平靜豐富滿足🙏

2025.4.22（二）早上到承天禪寺附近走走，中午時分移動到五穀先帝廟附近用餐。停好車後，先到本廟參拜，本廟主祀神農大帝、天上聖母，尤其上周才剛過媽祖聖誕，廟殿仍保有張燈結彩的輝煌。本廟埕有寬敞空間，平日可供香客停放車輛。周圍有早市場和佔地廣闊的公園，可以說是土城地區最熱鬧的地方。
